Outcomes and impact of the case
Expected outcomes
• A strong connection between research and programs where both researchers and participants benefit
• Companies are assisted with specific problems with a basis in research evidence
• Researchers are provided with practical insight to their research
• Programs become more practical relevant and customer driven
The goal is to become more customer driven and offer programs which are more practical relevant. This means changing the culture in the research teams towards a more short time orientation and at the same time change the societal perception of universities as introvert.
The development processes in the research teams changes from an inside-out approach to a more outside-in approach. This must be done in a way that respects the research freedom and have to be parallel to a basic funding of research.
