University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN)

The University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) is a dynamic network of academics, practitioners and business professionals passionate about advancing university-industry interaction, entrepreneurial universities and collaborative innovation. Members of UIIN include Higher Education Institution managers (e.g. rectors, vice chancellors), intermediaries (e.g. technology transfer offices, mobility offices), researchers from various fields, business professionals (e.g. innovation managers or management) and policy makers.

Driven through various initiatives, such as the UIIN Conference Series, the UIIN Magazine, the UIIN Good Practice Series, UIIN Publishing or UIIN Gateway, we aim to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for our members, partners and employees in order to exploit the full value of collaboration and cooperation, ultimately making a positive impact on academia, business and society.


The University of Adelaide

The University of Adelaide is one of Australia’s leading research-intensive universities and is consistently ranked among the top 1% of universities in the world. Established in 1874, it is Australia’s third oldest university with a strong reputation for research and teaching excellence and producing graduates that make an impact on the world.

The University has produced over 100 Rhodes Scholars, including Australia’s first Indigenous winner, with five Nobel Laureates among its alumni community. There are more than 25,000 students with 30 per cent of them international students from more than 90 countries.

The University fosters a strong innovation focus that runs through the whole institution. The Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre is a key part of the University that fosters dozens of initiatives throughout the globe In order to stimulate new ventures.

The University of South Australia (UniSA) is Australia’s university of enterprise and is an innovative, globally-focused, locally-engaged institution built on more than 150 years of teaching, learning and research excellence.
